We have had quite the winter! Let’s hope the majority of the snow is behind us. Especially for those with livestock, who are sick of cleaning out pens and around feed bins.

Historically, we are coming up on one of the best times of the year to market grain, which are the months of May and June. I’d encourage you to look at coupling up any old crop grain sales you make with some new crop to get a good start on the 2019 crop season. We are glad to put in Target Offers for any price in 1,000-bushel increments, please give Pam or myself a call or stop in. This is an especially helpful tool during the planting and spraying seasons.

We are offering free Price Later on corn and soybeans, get ahold of me if you have any questions about the program. The deadline to have things priced will be August 15th, 2019.

If you haven’t already, now would be a good time to get your cost of production estimates locked in. I have a COP spreadsheet for corn and soybeans that I can easily email you to plug in your own numbers. It’s not perfect, but it is a starting point that you can feel free to customize and make your own.
