Pam's Perspective - April 2018

Powerball Interviewer: "Congratulations on winning the $140 million dollar Powerball lottery."

Farmer: "Thank you."

Interviewer: "Do you have any special plans for spending all of that money?"

Farmer: "Nope. Not really. I'm just gonna keep farming until the lottery money is all gone."

But on a more serious note, the month of February did show a spike in the markets so it was nice to see the producer get a higher price for their crops, plus it gave Jory and I a chance to visit with our customers. I enjoy working on the grain side, but I also work with patronage. I have been working on updating those records with more current information. If you know someone on the list, please have them call me at (507)485-3153 or call me with a number where I can reach them or a family member if they are deceased.

Just a reminder, the age for equity payout is 72.  We pay out once a year at annual meeting time (usually later in August) so if you are 72 by June 30, please call so we can get you on the list.

Birthdates are important for us to have on file as they help us plan our payouts, so if you want to make sure we have yours, please give us a call.

If you have any pictures you would like posted to our website and/or facebook page, please let us know. It is so fun to see our patrons in action!

Have a safe & happy Spring!!
