Greetings from the Feed Department!

Glory to God in the highest and on earth peace, goodwill to all people! Here is to hoping we find you warm and cozy for the start of our Minnesota winter.

With the New Year will come new requirements for the VFD (veterinary feed directive) feeds. Remember to check with your veterinarian if you have the potential need for a medicated feed. If you have any questions about the VFD’s or what medications are required to have a VFD, contact your veterinarian or be in touch with Darian, Grant or Maverick in the feed department.

As of September 17, 2017, we will be under new rules and regulations for our feed division. This will entail more book keeping as well as creating diagrams for our feed mill set up and showing how the product gets from point A to point B safely. This will be a complete team effort, and we are confident that we will be well prepared for our September deadline.

I would like to tell you about a quality dog food we carry... NutriSource chicken and rice formula provides premium nutrition in an easy-to–digest food. Real chicken is the first ingredient, which is a source of high quality protein to help maintain muscle mass and strength. The available nutrients in chicken and rice result in less waste. With our promotional card, when you purchase 12 bags, the 13th bag is free!

I want to give a special ‘thank you’ to the all the employees who help in the feed department for their hard work and dedication during the busy harvest season. Things can be hectic at times, but we have a great crew that gets the job done.

As the holidays are upon us, please be conscientious about ordering feed in a timely manner, and take note that we are closed Monday the 26th as well as Monday, January 2nd. I would like to thank all the loyal customers for your business and wish you a Merry Christmas and a blessed New Year.

Kind regards,

Darian Horejsi
